The site is green belt and is farmland.
Traffic from 214 homes would be enormous particularly when other developments are taken into account. The B1013 will not cope. There will be pollution which is damaging to health.
The field is surrounded by 3 small woods which would be affected by this development.
The field is used for recreation and is an important wildlife habitat supporting many native species.

I use the footpath to walk my dogs and enjoy the peace and quiet and fresh air.
I love the surrounding woods and enjoy the trees and wildlife.
More housing causes more cars which increases pollution, not to mention the traffic which is already busy on the B1013.
This will place more strain on doctors and dentists having to deal with more people.
Gradually more and more land is being built on killing trees and animals.
Stop thinking about profit and think about the planet. It's now time Rochford to think about the environment! Thank you.

We live on Folly Lane which is already congested with traffic. Frequently we are stuck in queues of traffic, trying to get into Hockley village or anywhere else you need to get to. The options CFS064, CFS264, CFS040, would significantly make congestion worse.
The B1013 from Rayleigh to Hockley already struggles to cope with the existing amount of traffic already. The above mentioned options combined with others also feeding B1013 i.e. (CFS161, 160,105,053) would generate an enormous bottleneck. Also the pressure on schools, doctors etc. The increase in more people, more traffic would be horrendous.
Also some of the sites under consideration are Green Belt land. Loss of these green spaces would impact residents well-being and leisure activity. We use the fields and footpaths frequently, and also the horse riders who use the bridleways as there are lots of stables in Hockley. I am very concerned about the air quality. At the moment we have some lovely green spaces. But with all the excess amount of congestion this will cause, peoples health will be at risk.
Also the wildlife, where will it go?
I thought we were supposed to be protecting it.
In summary I do object to the level of development being proposed due to insufficient infrastructure and further loss of our lovely Green Belt land.

NEW LOCAL PLAN PROPOSALS

We live on Folly Lane which is already congested and frequently has queueing traffic. The options CFS064, CFS264, CFS040 would significantly make the congestion worse.
The B1013 from Rayleigh to Hockley already struggles to cope with existing traffic volume; the above mentioned options combined with others also feeding the B1013 i.e, (CFS161, 160, 105,053) would generate an enormous bottleneck. As a former governor at Hockley Primary School I'm aware of the pressure on school capacity locally and doubt there is capability to absorb the potential increases involved.
Some of the sites under consideration are green belt land, loss of which would impact resident well-being and leisure activity.
We frequently use the local footpaths and would object to any loss thereof.
Air quality would obviously be adversely affected also.
In summary I object to the level of development being proposed due to insufficient infrastructure and further loss of Green Belt land.
