My main reason for opposing this development is the impact this will have on Hockley Primary School. It is astonishing that you are prepared to compromise the security and saftey of our children by turning the area into a building site with construction vehicles and workforces having such close access around the school, not to mention the noise and pollution that would accompany a site of this scale and furthermore once construction is complete access to 50 houses leaving the school very vulnerable. The other big concern is the congestion on what is already an extremely busy estate, refuse collectors complain about the struggle to get round therefore the same issue would surely arise with fire engines etc yet you are prepared to increase the problem by building a further 50 homes. This proposed site is beyond ridiculous and should under no circumstances be permitted. I also find it disgraceful that local residents were not informed of these proposals leaving very little time to raise our objections.
