Overall, i object to this due to more taffic around the school which will affect child safety and the fact that i live on this estate and would be a shame to remove the little green areas that we do have. Also i only found out about this yesterday (29th April) i feel residents should have been advised sooner. My house overlooks this woodland and i dont really want to overlook more houses.
These are the reasons i object to this:
1. Me and my family use the field all the time for bike rides and walks, it is a lovely safe are for the children to use away from the roads. We will really miss having this area.
2. I live on the betts farm estate and worry about the extra traffic on the roads. Also unclear as to where the access road would be.
3. I also worry about school safety having all the extra houses over looking the school field.
4. Both my children attend Hockley Primary and the school and the school uses this field fro trips. It would be a real shame if this affected the school trips.
