Allocations DPD Discussion and Consultation Document

Representation ID: 19683

Received: 29/04/2010

Respondent: Mr Andrew McMillan

Representation Summary:

I wish to object to this proposal for two reasons:-
1. The proximity to the Hockley Primary School. Currently the school enjoys a secluded location which is not overlooked. The children are educated in a quiet rural setting, which would be destroyed firstly by the construction traffic and work, and then the location of the development which would encroach on their space. In addition, the children enjoy safe walks across the footpaths through the various woods to Meddowfields Nature Centre in Church Road. The proposed development would hamper, if not totally thwart this activity.
2. Why bound Folly Wood on four sides?
