I have to state that the building of 50 homes would, presumably, lead to a further 100, or so, cars. Folly Lane/Folly Chase/Fountain Lane are, especially at peak times, already over-stretched to cope with the current volume of traffic. Without a major Hockley/Hawkwell by-pass [ as has been muted by The Council in the past ], this suggestion would only add further unacceptable congestion. The infastructure, as exists, would be insufficient to accommodate the additional strain.
