London Southend Airport and Environs Joint Area Action Plan Preferred Options

We are very supportive of the development of the London Southen Airport AS LONG AS our HQ at the cargo entrance to Southend Airport are included in the plans and that we will not be pushed off the airport. We are largest and most successful Air Cadet Unit in Essex as well as being very well respected in the Borough and in particular the Mayor. We promote citizenship and teamwork amongst youngsters (aged 13-19) and help keep them off the streets. Being based on the airport helps us with our recruitment as an air orientated organsation.
