Representation Summary:

CFS064
I object to this field site (CFS064) being used for housing because it is green belt and farmed regularly.
The traffic increase caused by more houses will severely impact traffic congestion on the B1013 and surrounding roads.
Traffic on the Betts Farm estate would put extra strain on the estate causing pollution and damaging our health.
The field has an important footpath around the edge regularly used by walkers.
The surrounding ancient woodland would be adversely affected by a housing development.
The field supports wildlife and hedgerows important to native species.
The infrastructure would be put under severe strain from more houses in this small village.
I feel it is important to keep Hockley as a village and not infill all the green spaces so important to the local residents health and wellbeing.
There are regularly long traffic queues through the village, which definitely cannot cope with additional cars which would be a consequence of another housing development.
