Having lived in Rectory Road for 8 years and now living in Leigh I have seen the sad decline of the Pindi Nursery site of the past years.

I believe a new mixed development of residential houses would enhance the area and follow the trend of new residential housing that currently surround this land.

The site is in a suitable location to enable residents good access to local amenities and local transport links.

I don’t believe there would be a noticeable impact on traffic as a residential site would be less than a busy nursery especially over the weekends.
There are also several well established nurseries in the area that mean a sale as a nursery would be unviable considering the condition of the existing buildings.

Hopefully the area can be regenerated and improve the look of the area.
