West of Great Wakering has had been subjected to planning permission for at least 477 dwellings in the past
(Brickworks 119 dwellings, Land South of High Street 200 (originally 180), Land west Little Wakering Road 120, Red Lion 8, Little Wakering hall Lane 13, Alexandra Road 25) and although we were promised by the County Council more infrastructure once the homes were built this has not been forthcoming. There is still the possibility of development of the existing Industrial Estate on Star Lane.
This is an increase of more than 20% with no increase in facilities.
