First and foremost is the infrastructure of our village. It cannot cope with more housing developments. With the increase in housing in Shoplands and Barrow Hall (once they are fully occupied) our schools and nurseries will be full (Nurseries and Great Wakering school already full). Our Doctors are already buckling, and the roads and parking (especially around the schools and nurseries) will be absolutely manic and already cannot cope with the through traffic. Our beauty and nature of the village will be destroyed. Shopping and transportation links are limited and footpaths in some areas are non existent.
