Areas at flood risk account for over 40% of Rochford District Council. Therefore the availability of land for development is severely impacted. Why are we having to take “overflow” from neighbouring councils who have far less risk and far less land that is as precarious to the environmental factors.
To build housing on this type of land would be grossly negligent.
