In essence I support the development of the land east of Oxford Road however I have recently found that the owners of Doggetts Farm want to build an eco-village on this land which would not only be in keeping with the drive for sustainability and carbon neutrality, but would provide an ideallic estate to live in and provide many community facilities for the existing town inhabitants (cycle paths, forest planting, water activities, special education needs). Moreover, such a project would benefit the Rochford area on many levels and could serve a national blueprint for town expansion and development.
