Local development will cause significant harm to agriculture and greenbelt land, residents and wildlife
I agree with specific part of the 2050 plan to keep the village tranquil.
I disagree with -
Development sites that will cause significant harm to local agriculture land and greenbelt land and naturally, wildlife
Development as the council report shows extremely poor transport links to major road and rail assets
Further, job density of around 0.59 jobs to every working age resident is relatively low compared to a national average of 0.87, reflecting our strong reliance on out-commuting to other areas. More travel leads to increased pollution
Development as the current road (Little Wakering Road) cannot sustain the extra traffic caused by over development without causing significant delays, pollution and potential grid locks
Development due to the flood risk which is likely to increase with climate change (multiple reports from global bodies) and local housing development will not improve this threat
