Site CFS044 represents a natural rounding off to the existing development form. It is noted that the appraisal found that the site only scored 1/2 over 6 issues. From examination the appraisal is wrong as follows:
1 - the site makes little contribution to the greenbelt;
- it is not in full agricultural use
2 - the site has excellent accessibility to bus services;
- there would be no impact upon protected trees
- there is no drainage impact (see FRA submitted)
- in terms of strategy the site is well placed to accomodate elderly persons/general housing.
