Rayleigh is a beautiful town and I do not agree that anymore housing should be built near the town centre as it is just so congested. If houses are to be built sites nearest to the A130 should be considered first. This is a large amount of land where roads and infrastructure could be introduced and not impact on the already congested town centre. Small areas of green belt near housing around town are areas which residents enjoy for walks a recreation. To take these away would destroy the whole feel of our beautiful historic town.
