Whilst I agree that Barling should remain mainly rural most residents are depentant on shops and services in Southend - Thorpe Bay, Southchurch and Waitrose, not Rochford or Shoebury. Therefor any increase in development in Barling or the wider area must have reference to maintaining and or improving transport links and better access for private and delivery vehicles etc.
