New Local Plan: Spatial Options Document 2021

Representation ID: 37835

Received: 11/08/2021

Respondent: Mrs J Crichton

Representation Summary:

Generally there is a requirement for all items in no 3.
There is already too much of item 1 being currently under development, with no addition provision for additional services mentioned in 3,( health centre, school and large green areas were mentioned in planning but not forthcoming ) and better infrastructure- roads /road management, drainage/flood provisions (current flood provision at Sweyne not effective) communications etc. Currently Rayleigh becomes gridlocked. Only getting worse. This damages Rayleigh’s image as a friendly, family market town. Sprawling urban area does not promote integrated community spirit
