All green spaces are vital to the well-being of the population. New England Wood (R10 Grid ref TQ832902) should remain untouched by development (HC1 Ancient Woodland Sites. • SC18 Invertebrates Listed as Species of Principal Importance in England. Place Services 1993. Updated 2017).
These woods, along with Grove Woods, contain deer and other wildlife. It is a popular walk for residents from Grove Woods, through New England Woods on the way to Cherry Orchard Park. To cover this in concrete and buildings is totally unacceptable.
