I feel the most important requirement for the development of the Wakerings and Barling is the protection of our green belt land. This needs to be considered with the utmost importance in the vision for the Wakering and Barling, we cannot replace all our green belt areas with housing developments. I do not feel this has been highlighted enough in the vision with several of the proposed site being existing green belt and agricultural land. We did not move to this area for it to become an extension of Shoeburyness, the preservation of the rural village feel is key.
