The land behind Nelson road in Rayleigh and at the end of Wellington road and the horses fields at the top of Albert Road need to be protected. They have provided sanctuary to many during the Pandemic providing relaxing walks for local residents and improving well being that many people continue to need and want to do on a regular basis. The fields behind Nelson Road are also an area of special character and the area has a wildlife habitat for several species including slow worms.
