Representation Summary:

CFS 105 should be part of the potential park and not be developed. It will ruin an ancient landscape and hill top and will dominate the valley(s) either side.

Full text:

As regards CFS 105 the proposed site will straddle the brow of the hill, turning the rural aspect of Hockley Road (as a ribbon through fields either side) into yet another housing cluster. The ratepayers who it will back onto are predominantly older and will lose the peace and rural aspect to the rear of their properties. Looking up the hill will become and feel like an urban environment. It will overshadow the current properties to the north of Hockley Road.
The land is on the ridge which is an ancient landscape topography with view over the Crouch Valley below. This will be lost to houses and possibly flats and other areas must be more suitable. The potential park could encompass the whole of the field and cross the road down past Hockley Woods to the south.
The substrate is sand which is not suitable to build upon.
Access off already busy Hambro Hill will be difficult and hazardous.
I object most strongly.
