The proposals will be disastrous for Hockley. Spa Road is a bottleneck most days, the road and all surrounding roads are too narrow to cope with the traffic and pedestrian crossings now, a major store will bring in even more motorists from outside the area, I believe that a serious accident is inevitable.
Please leave Hockley as a village with character.
