Option SC4 - North of Lark Hill Road and South of Anchor Lane.
Spreading the development across numerous landowners will inevitably result in delays in the
sites coming forward for development and could result in only part of the 60 homes being
developed. The sites, whilst combined could provide the 60 homes; it is unlikely that they will
provide the social housing requirements. As separate sites, it will be possible to argue that the
smaller areas are below the thresholds for social housing. Linked to this approach is the
likelihood that the play space is not provided as well as the usual Section 106 package.
