I live in Chevening Gardens and I have been totally kept in the dark about a plan to drive a road through Chevening Gardens and build 50 houses,effectively in the school playing field. The extra traffic involved would make access to the school virtually impossible and extremely dangerous for the large number of children trying to access the school.
The infrastructure in the village cannot support the residents already living there.
Hockley school has for many years has benifited from a rural outlook. Why subject the children to a building site as their neighbour when there are other more suitable alternatives?
