Option SC2 is very poorly related to the existing village. The site is surrounded by open fields to the north, south and west, and a house and riding school to the east. It is therefore likely to be difficult to create defensible green belt boundaries.
Our clients strongly disagree with the analysis of the site as set out in the discussion and consultation document. Owing to the location and aspect of the land, the site would have a significant impact on the openness of the green belt and the location alone would not necessarily create community cohesion.
