London Southend Airport & Environs Joint Area Action Plan Issues & Options Paper

Representation ID: 1974

Received: 06/08/2008

Respondent: Mr Ian Syers

Representation Summary:

By finally recognising that Southend Airport represents the past not the future, and redeveloping it for purposes benefitting most residents of SE Essex rather than the few selfish people wanting to take their pleasure to the detriment of others and at the cost of contributing significantly to global warming. The uses I have proposed are residential, business, retail and leisure ( the airport buildings and taxiway would be far better site for a football stadium than Fossett's Farm).
