Although one hopes that the consultation process is truly objective, previous consultations have tended to support the council's point of view. Without an independent review one never really knows how accurately all views are represented especially as it would appear that we are dependent on those who have prepared the plan to report unbiasedly on the comments they receive. In truth this seems a tall order. More information on how comments are reviewed and reported on would be appreciated.
