Allocations DPD Discussion and Consultation Document

Representation ID: 19114

Received: 28/04/2010

Respondent: Mrs Pauline Young

Representation Summary:

Hawkwell is a village location with already significant traffic congestion problems and with no immediate access from this site to any adequate public transport services (30 mins + to the Station) traffic problems will be exacerbated. There is no requirement to provide a further 175 dwellings in this location. This site is greenbelt and very rich in foliage with significant wildlife inhabitants including the Muntjac deer which thrive in the dense undergrowth, this area has a wonderful rural appeal and should not be lost when so many more sites are available within the district to meet the 'necessary 175 dwellings'
