Representation Summary:

Hawkwell and the Hockley area are, at the moment lovely places to live and I really hope that they stay that way. I believe that the proposed housing estates will have a detrimental effect on this area as a whole. Primarily I disagree with the loss of green belt land. The housing needs of Hawkwell are far less than 175 and such needs can easily be accommodated on smaller brown field sites rather than green belt land. As a nation we need to work together to protect our natural habitats and wildlife. Our children and future generations would benefit much more from areas of natural beauty and places to play rather than more unnecessary houses and roads.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have recently moved to Hawkwell from a very overpopulated area of Essex (Hornchurch to be precise) in order to escape queues of traffic, pollution, lack of open spaces and so on because every scrap of land has been built on. Therefore I was disappointed when I heard about the various proposed planning developments in Hawkwell. The knock on effect of over-development is immense, trust me!

This is a really important decision - please think beyond bank balances here!

I would be grateful of any further developments.
