Allocations DPD Discussion and Consultation Document

Representation ID: 17806

Received: 07/04/2010

Respondent: Mr Alistair Sounes

Representation Summary:

I strongly object
The area is too small to hold many pitches but it does host a large amount of wildlife that has already been compromised with The Chase development. Hockley's rural surroundings are a home not just for a huge variety of wildlife but necessary open space for residents of all of the surrounding areas to enjoy. This location is too close to existing residential dwellings. The impact of traveler sites on the local community is best demonstrated by that which has happened at Crays Hill. RDC should learn by other DC's mistakes.
