Based on the existing RDC population primary school numbers are falling. However given the proposed inflow of new inhabitants there might be a need for new schools. It should be confirmed that no existing schools have capacity. Watermans (formerly Doggetts) in Rochford should have at least 200 places. If it is not considered to be in the right location then close it to save money and move the few remaining children to nearby schools.
