Representation Summary:

to stay as a tip, only local pepole clear the rubbish not the council.
As you say this site is near a railway station do you think the gypsy community will use this nservice, NO they wont
To spend rate payers money for such a small camp is in my mind completely wrong, monies should be spent more wisely.

Full text:

I wish to appeal against the proposal for a gypsy site on 285 plumberow avenue, A few years ago the council evicted the previous gypsy family for environmental and anti social behaviour with the local community, it also has sanitry issuse, the costs for eviction £'s being paid by the rate payer. After eviction this site was then returned to green belt. As green belt how can you reverse your previous decision and build on this land when others in the area have been refused permission. Green belt should be preserved for the future. this site has no sanitory provisions and of previous this caused environmently issue as the stench was overpowering. The roadway leading to this site is unadopted and in poor state of repair which repairs are carried out by the local pepole. . Additional vehicles such as lorries and heavy vans would do untold damage and possibly make it unpassable for many cars. As for the council to say this site is ideal for promoting community cohesion why was their so much ill felling before. This will only promote the old feelings and possible conflict. This area of road is open and kept reasonably tidy but as seen everywhere gysy camps are rubbish mount up and thrown everywhere again causing major environmental issuse making the area a tip. Once a tip is seems never to return.
