Representation Summary:

I would hope Rochford Council will be paying for the laying of main drainage to current residents as well as to the gypsy site as well as adopting and making up the road at their cost. I would also expect a drop in council taxes to represent the fall in value of my property

Having lived in Plumberow Avenue for over 40 years I would object in the strongest possible terms to having a gypsy site placed three plots from my dwelling. When gypsies were living on this plot of land before we were subjected to extremely loud music for most of the day, but the worst problem walking through Plumberow wood was trying to avoid human excrement, soiled toilet paper and used nappies. Each time I have thought to extend my property I have been told that my allocation has been reached and as this is a green belt area and I would not be allowed to do anything. Can Rochford Council or the government guarantee a compensation package to make good the drop in value in my property if these proposals go ahead as I would take stringent measures to recover any monies I feel would be my entitlement.
