(4) 3.1 The Council's vision is shared with that of the Local Strategic Partnership:

'To make Rochford District a place which provides opportunities for the best possible quality of life for all who live, work and visit here'

3.2 To support this, the Council has four main corporate objectives. These are:

• Making a difference to our people

• Making a difference to our community

• Making a difference to our environment

• Making a difference to our local economy

3.3 The Core Strategy has a key role to play in the delivery of the vision for Rochford District. For each theme of the Core Strategy, the vision and objectives for that topic have been set out. Together, these all contribute to the overall vision for the District.
