I am totally against your plans Hockley is a village,and should remain so. Why not reduce business rates, then shops may not close. The infrastructure does not allow for additional housing. Traffic lights at Spa junction will be an absolute nightmare. Buses have already been cut, how can you even think about increasing housing. There are at least 20 new developments within walking distance of where I live that have not been sold. Leave Hockley alone and think about what you are doing.
Remember Councillors are elected but can also be de-elected.
