Improvements to walking and cycling facilities should be under consideration in any event. We need to work to get less cars on the roads and less traffic in the air!! My children are at school on a busy main road and exposed to pollutants on a daily basis. Their school has a large cupboard dedicated solely to asthma inhalers!! They will be exposed to yet more pollutants with the cobined effect of both increased emissions from aircraft flying low overhead and the increase in cars/lorries accessing the area. Their health should be more important than jobs.
