London Southend Airport and Environs Joint Area Action Plan Preferred Options

Representation ID: 5904

Received: 28/03/2009

Respondent: mr terence sheern

Representation Summary:

the A127 is curently overload and another 2million passengers will put an intolerable extra amount of traffic, this also goes against the new speed restrictions, more cars will mean more accidents and slower speeds will mean more jams. The railway link will not provide access for residents in southend, leigh, westcliff, benfleet, basildon, castle point etc etc as it is a different line, this means those passengers will use their cars. Which means local residents will suffer. More freight also means more lorries
