London Southend Airport and Environs Joint Area Action Plan Preferred Options

Representation ID: 5578

Received: 25/03/2009

Respondent: Recognition Express

Representation Summary:

The statement "It is expected that development will make a contribution to the establishment of an appropriate bus service" is very vague. In planning a major project such as this the word "expected" should not be in a planning document. Can the Council assure the public that agreement in principle has been reached with local bus operators to offer enhanced bus services to and around the airport and - just as importantly - airport industrial areas?
