I think the expansion of the airport is a typical knee jerk reaction by Southend Council. No consideration has been given to the effects on the residents of Leigh ( As Always). I live on the flight path now and am affected already by aircraft noise and polution. The A127 will be a permanent car park, The airport area is not big enough for 2m people passing through. I say no, leave it for the light aircraft only!
