It is a ridiculous proposition to suggest that the impact of increased airport passenger numbers can be managed through improved Public Transport links in what is already a highy congested area. Increased congestion caused by the use of private cars that offer convenience to luggage-laden passengers travelling both to & from existing airports is inevitable and all major studies of to date show an extremely high reliance on private transport at airports
