I believe developing the airport is extremely valuable for Southend. I and my family support a runway extension and introduction of flights both internal and to the continent. I hope this consultation results in development and the creation of jobs and revenue for the town. I appreciate that extra noise and traffic is not desirable for residents who will be affected but the town as a whole should benefit from developing the airport. the development will fit in well with stadium plans and further development of the Fossets corridor - hopefully including transport links.
