Re ALL FUTURE DEVELOPMENT IN WAKERING

The development in Barrow Hall Road has had a significant impact on my neighbour's life. The development is much too close to our back gardens and little thought has been given to this. The road in Little Wakering was never designed for the volume of traffic there now is, and which is going to get worse in the near future. A road accident outside my house at the weekend testifies to this (4/9/21).

The village itself is in danger of losing its village status and community spirit. My neighbour has put his property up for sale due to the development and busy noisy road. There needs to be more thought and care going into future developments and not letting subsidised farmers make a vast profit from selling farmland. I would like a guarantee that all social housing will be for local people who are waiting to be rehomed. As you may have guessed I'm against all future development in the village. We hear that development is needed, but I don't hear local people saying this?

Instead, a better bus service and reduced road traffic is more beneficial. We need greener, not more pollution.
