Parishioners realise that Canewdon is not likely to be able to support commercial of community infrastructure proposals, but it does need a small amount of market & affordable housing. Of the promoted sites, only the site north of Lambourne Hall Road, east of the Village Hall, has some limited support for residential development, but the entire site would provide far too many dwellings. Canewdon Parish Council would not support anything other than a limited portion of the promoted site, extending no farther north that the existing limits of Althorne Way.
