We shouldnt be looking to protect elements of rural communities in the future we should be prioritising wildlife and farming land. With Brexit and growing global populations we will need all our farming land and should be promoting biodiverse and farming communities. I have holidayed in Lee Valley where tremendous natural environments are overshadowed by industry and housing massively to the areas detriment.
