Any development that is going to put pressure on already congested roads should be opposed. Stambridge Road feeds into Rochford Centre, which is choking. Brays Lane will fee into Ashingdon Road and Stambridge Road. These roads themselves lead onto Hall Rd , Cherry Orchard Way and Southend Road. Lets not forget Sutton Road. These are all major areas on congestion. So if you build more houses, this will mean more cars on these roads, not less. Our doctors surgeries , schools and hospitals cannot cope with the current populace, so why isn’t Rochford council accepting this and working out a more appropriate plan. People are moving from out of area, into South East Essex, affordable housing is what exactly? Why are we building homes in South East Essex to serve the needs of people from other parts of the county and the country?
