I believe that the Doggets Farm eco-village concept is a vision of how future housing developments should proceed. Instead of high density developer building propsals, a lower-density, sustainable, productive, harmonious, community-centric ethos is the type of concept that now needs to be encouraged and adopted. The benefits to the town will go far beyond just economic, and many other in-district towns could similarly benefit if they were to follow suit. This eco-village project would also allow safer link improvments between Rochford and Ashingdon and the schools herein.
