Looking at the potential loss of arable land highlighted in Fig 44, will result in a massive loss of potential food production.. At a time when our goverment, post brexit, are encouraging our farmers to increase production, we must safeguard all the arable land we can. At an average wheat yeild of 9.6ton per (HA), the fields near me themsevles (CFS053, CFS098) will result in a loss of 62 tons per annum.
The potential food loss is just the tip of the iceberg. We have the loss of wildlife habitat, loss of bridleways, increased congestion in an already overcrowded area.
