New Local Plan: Spatial Options Document 2021

Representation ID: 38616

Respondent: Mrs Lindsay Key

Representation Summary:

Ref. CFS261
I object very strongly to release of this huge area to any form of development other than where it already exists. This comprises vast swathes of agricultural land currently thriving (i live adjacent). I observe much varied wildlife daily in the fields and extensive hedgerows. The loss of existing agriculture, landscape, wildlife, heritage would be massive. There are no buses or facilities, Ashingdon/Rochford traffic is already very heavy. I have read your Strategic Options and from those it is clear that huge Green Belt developments are unnecessary to meet housing targets and in my view immoral and wrong.
