Representation Summary:

As a resident of Folly Lane, and having already had a significant number of houses built down Folly Grove the idea of building more houses on the fields at the end of Folly Chase is bonkers. Hockley is a small village with little infrastructure. Roads are already congested and are not maintained. when main road is blocked, Folly Lane becomes a rat run. Not enough doctors and the infrastructure in terms of water, internet etc are insufficient. Water authorities are unable to maintain a high pressure service. More houses will decrease the value of existing homes

As a resident of Folly Lane, and having already had a significant number of houses built down Folly Grove the idea of building more houses on the fields at the end of Folly Chase is bonkers. Hockley is a small village with little infrastructure. The roads are already congested with traffic and trucks. The roads are not maintained as it is and when the main road is blocked, Folly Lane becomes a rat run and issues occur for residents trying to get off their drives. There are not enough doctors in the area and the infrastructure in terms of water, internet etc are insufficient. We cant even get faster broadband here for the residents as it is. The water authorities are unable to maintain a high pressure service. I also feel more houses will decrease the value of our homes as Hockley was supposed to be a small quiet village. You cannot keep building houses on green land.
