All farmland between Hockley Woods, Grove Woods and Rayleigh should be included in Upper Roach Valley regional park to protect Hockley Woods from encroachment, to maintain a green lung between Rochford Hundred and Southend and provide large green recreational space with access from all directions. The necessity of this has been demonstrated by the increased use during lockdown.
